Air conditioner servicing

A unit that is serviced regularly uses less electricity, runs more quietly and lasts longer. One that is not collects dust and moisture in the evaporator, loses output and sooner or later starts to smell.

We recommend a service once a year, and twice for units that also run in winter or in dusty surroundings. Spring is the best time, before the first real heat — appointments are easy to get and a fault surfaces before you need the unit.

What the service covers

A routine service with us includes:

• cleaning the filters, evaporator and condenser
• checking the refrigerant and topping it up if needed
• checking pressures, the condensate drain and the electrical connections
• disinfecting the indoor unit
• testing operation in both cooling and heating

Faults and repairs

If the unit is not cooling, is leaking, keeps cutting out or reports an error, we come, find the cause and tell you what is needed — before the repair, not after. Units under warranty are handled to the manufacturer's terms.

Prices for servicing, cleaning and regassing are published in the service price list and do not change once we are on site.
